Biography

Dr. Melisa Deimling is a board-certified pediatrician at Community Care Pediatrics – Latham. She is a Clifton Park native and a graduate of Shenendehowa High School. She received her Bachelor of Science in neuroscience from the University of Rochester and her Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York at Stony Brook Health Sciences Center. She was an inductee in the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. After earning her medical degree, Dr. Deimling completed her pediatric residency at Duke University Medical Center, where she also served as Chief Resident. She earned the title of Assistant Professor on faculty at the Duke Department of Pediatrics, where she practiced and taught for eight years, before returning to the Capital Region in 2016.

Dr. Deimling is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her professional interests include well childcare of newborns to adolescents, and she has a special interest in the care of premature infants and adolescents. Outside of the office, Dr. Deimling enjoys exploring local outdoor and indoor offerings with her family, cooking and enjoying great food, listening to music, and training for short-distance races.
